On December 2 in the American Stock Exchange Building, Versace held its first-ever New York fashion show. And while the looks coming down the runway—paying homage to the house’s deep archives, including a riff on Jennifer Lopez’s iconic 2000 Grammys dress—were as bold as you’d expect from Donatella and co., the folks sitting front row weren’t exactly shrinking violets.
